James Rohrsheim is an Orthopaedic surgeon with a sub-specialty interest in adult hip and knee replacements as well as revision hip surgery.
He is also interested in treating all forms of trauma/fracture patients, as well as foot and ankle problems
James completed all his junior medical and surgical training in Australia.
During this time, he spent four years serving with the Royal Australian Navy, including six months embarked in HMAS ANZAC serving in the Arabian Gulf. For this he was awarded the Australian Active Service Medal.
He obtained his surgical qualifications from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons/Australian Orthopaedic Association National Advanced Surgical Training Program based in Sydney.
On completion of his general Orthopaedic training he gained further experience in hip and knee replacement surgery in Belgium, Sydney and the United Kingdom (Exeter) over a two year period.
James has a Visiting Medical Officer appointment at Norwest Private Hospital, and North Shore Private Hospitals.
James is married with three children. His leisure activities include golf, tennis and cycling.
He consults in Bella Vista and Penrith.
