What is Exercise Physiology?

Exercise Physiology is a dedicated branch of healthcare focused on using evidence-based exercise interventions to prevent, manage, and treat a wide range of health conditions. As essential healthcare providers, Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) in Ryde play a crucial role in improving quality of life and helping individuals achieve lasting behaviour change.

At OnePointHealth, our Ryde Exercise Physiologists are university-qualified allied health professionals with extensive knowledge in areas such as human movement, exercise science, and chronic disease management. We use advanced assessment tools and techniques, including comprehensive health screenings and functional capacity evaluations, to evaluate your condition and develop personalised treatment plans. Our Ryde exercise physiology clinic is equipped with the latest technology to ensure accurate assessments and effective interventions for all health-related concerns.

Our AEPs are registered with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and have studied at university for a minimum of four years, including 500 hours of practical clinical experience. They maintain current First Aid and CPR certification and participate in ongoing professional development to ensure they’re using the latest evidence-based treatments for all patients.
