Dean graduated from Western Sydney University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science & Masters of Podiatric Medicine.
His role here at OnePoint Health is quite unique as his week involves treating a range of lower limb conditions clinically as well as working within our in house custom orthotic manufacturing facility.
Dean is highly passionate about allied healthcare and achieving the best possible clinical treatment outcomes for his patients. His area’s of clinical interest include chronic lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, sports and running injuries and minor surgical procedures for ingrown toenails and plantar warts.
Dean has a special interest in managing complex neurological lower limb conditions including foot drop in relation to stroke, spinal injury and cerebral palsy. He has extensive experience in the prescription of custom made ankle foot orthoses (AFO's) to manage these conditions.
Dean Is also passionate about clinical education and learning and is currently completing the Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines for Podiatrist’s which will enable him to prescribe Podiatry specific medications, including cortisone injections for a range of lower limb conditions.
Outside of his career, Dean enjoys anything involving the outdoors, sports and quality time with close friends and family.
