Fatima Hussaini

Fatima is a Podiatrist with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) from Western Sydney University.

Fatima has a strong interest in biomechanics, diabetic foot health, and the management of chronic foot and lower limb conditions. During her Honours degree, she undertook research focused on diabetic foot care and preventative health strategies. Her research explored approaches to reducing the risk of diabetes-related foot ulcers through early intervention, patient education, and evidence-based podiatric management. This experience strengthened her appreciation for preventative healthcare and the important role podiatrists play in preserving mobility, independence, and quality of life. Fatima is passionate about translating current research into clinical practice and is committed to delivering evidence-based care tailored to each patient's individual needs.

At OnePointHealth, she was part of the Clinical Cadet Program and worked on the administration team at the Ryde location, gaining exposure to a broad range of podiatric presentations and developing a deeper understanding of patient-centred healthcare delivery. These experiences have complemented her podiatric training and continue to support her commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Prior to becoming a podiatrist, Fatima gained valuable experience in nursing and phlebotomy. This background provided her with a strong foundation in patient care and multidisciplinary healthcare, skills that continue to support her patient-centred approach to podiatric practice.

Fatima is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and Dari and welcomes the opportunity to support and treat patients from Persian- and Dari-speaking backgrounds, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their care journey.

Outside of work, Fatima enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
