Jeffery graduated with a Master of Podiatric Medicine from Western Sydney University in 2012, where he was awarded the Vasyli Medical Orthoses Award for the most outstanding academic achievements. Following this, Jeffery has gone on to complete 10-years of post-graduate studies. He completed an additional master’s degree in podiatric medicine via Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, with a research focus in the surgical management of painful big toe arthritis. Jeffery is currently undergoing his surgical fellowship training, whilst undertaking multiple medical and surgical courses. He continues to undertake research in foot and ankle medicine via the University of Newcastle.
Jeffery has a passion for teaching and education in the podiatric medicine field. He has completed a Bachelor of Education (Physical and Health Education) and currently lectures in podiatric medicine at various universities in NSW. He also regularly provides clinical mentorship to students of podiatric medicine and many other medical and health disciplines. In his directorship role at Alliance Medical Group, he coordinates the clinical excellence and cadet programs for OnePointHealth.
Jeffery currently sits on the Australian Podiatry Association regional council, along with various other committees in the podiatric medicine profession. Jeffery holds a number of professional memberships including The Australian Podiatry Association (NSW and ACT) and Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia (SEPA), Sports Medicine Australia (SMA), and is also a trainee member of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons.
