Podiatrist
Available at Penrith, Springwood
Maja completed her Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at Western Sydney University, developing a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-centred care. Throughout her university journey, she worked as a cadet at OnePointHealth for three years, an experience that significantly shaped both her clinical confidence and practical expertise.
During this time, Maja was extensively involved in the Alliance Orthotics laboratory, where she expanded her knowledge of custom orthotic manufacturing. She contributed to the CAD design process of orthotic production while also refining her hands-on technical skills in the lab. Being involved in the entire workflow, from assessment and design through to fabrication and patient outcomes, gave her a deep appreciation for the biomechanics and clinical impact of custom orthotic therapy. Witnessing firsthand the positive outcomes patients experienced further strengthened her passion for lower limb health and functional rehabilitation.
Clinically, Maja enjoys all areas of podiatry, with a particular interest in managing soft tissue injuries and sporting-related conditions. Her strong sporting background, including competitive tennis and achieving an Australian tennis ranking in her youth, gives her valuable insight into athletic performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
Outside of podiatry, Maja enjoys spending quality time with her partner, family, and friends. She loves discovering new food experiences and staying active through gym training and coastal walks.
