Anita Beerapu is a Senior Podiatrist at OnePointHealth Blaxland, bringing over a decade of experience in sports podiatry, biomechanical injuries, wound care, nail surgery, paediatrics and all aspects of podiatry. She graduated from Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand) with a qualification in Podiatric Medicine and was awarded a scholarship to further her studies in Health Sciences.

Anita has a strong clinical focus on lower limb biomechanics, shockwave therapy, and dry needling. She specialises in custom foot and ankle orthotics, including the innovative Riche brace, and has extensive experience managing conditions like chronic ankle instability, foot drop, and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction.

She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and works closely with a multidisciplinary team—including physiotherapists, sports physicians, and orthopaedic surgeons, to ensure comprehensive treatment outcomes. Her commitment to providing extraordinary care for her patients is evident as she believes in creating a positive, supportive experience for every patient.

  Anita finds her job incredibly rewarding, particularly in helping her patients achieve a pain-free life and enabling them to resume their normal day-to-day activities without discomfort. Outside of her work Anita cherishes being a mother to her beautiful little daughter.
